With the Walnut Capital Resident App, everything you need is right at your fingertips. Whether it’s paying rent, submitting maintenance requests, reserving amenities, or staying updated with community news, our app is designed to help you manage it all seamlessly.

What Can You Do with the Walnut Capital Resident App?

  • Pay Rent with Ease: No more checks, envelopes, or trips to the office. You can pay rent online quickly and securely right through the app!
  • Submit Maintenance Requests: Have a leaky faucet or an appliance that needs attention? Submit a maintenance request directly from your phone, anytime, anywhere.
  • Reserve Amenities: Need to book a community space, guest parking, or other amenities? The app makes it easy to see availability and make reservations.
  • Access Account Information & Sign Documents: Quickly view your account details and sign important documents without the hassle—all accessible right in the app.
  • Connect on the Community Bulletin Board: Engage with neighbors, share updates, and stay connected with the community through the digital bulletin board.
  • Receive Important Notifications: Get real-time updates and reminders to stay informed about community events, announcements, and more.

Have A Question? We’ve Got Answers!

  1. How do I log into the Walnut Capital App? Once you have downloaded the app, click ‘Sign In’ and use your RentCafe email and password to log in and access your resident portal. If you experience any issues logging into your account, please contact the leasing office
  2. How do I view my lease documents through the app? Once you’re logged in, click on the “Documents” tab to view current and past lease documents.
  3. How do I see the Community Bulletin Board? The Bulletin Board is on your home screen. Scroll down to see the latest questions, comments, and updates from your neighbors.
  4. How do I pay rent through the app? Yes, just click the “Make a Payment” button, and you’re all set.
  5. How do I set up Autopay? Click the "Autopay" button on the homepage and select "Setup Autopay". It will prompt you to pick a payment account, start date, and what day you want the money taken out of your account. 
  6. How do I submit maintenance requests through the app? The Maintenance button is on your home screen as soon as you log in. Click it, and you’ll be guided through the steps to submit a request.
  7. How do I reserve an amenity? To view or add a reservation, click on "Reservations." Tap the plus sign to book an amenity. If the amenity requires payment, a pop-up with details will appear. Follow the steps and add your payment information when prompted.
  8. How do I reserve a guest parking spot? Click on “Reservations,” select the duration for the guest parking, and verify. The leasing office will confirm availability and notify you. Then, stop by the leasing office to pick up a parking pass for your guest!
  9. Should I delete the old app? It’s up to you! The Walnut Capital App provides the same layout and information as RentCafe, so you won’t miss a thing.
