Walnut Capital is set to open The Caroline Apartments in Central Oakland by fall 2027 as part of its University Commons expansion. The complex will offer 160 fully furnished units with 480 beds, each bedroom featuring a private bathroom. Designed with students in mind, the building will include amenities such as a fitness center, yoga studio, study lounges, an arcade, grilling areas, and a grab-and-go market. The development aims to meet the growing demand for modern student housing near the University of Pittsburgh.
