Bakery Square is the heart of Pittsburgh's East end! It has everything you could want. Great food, great drinks... Always live music and plenty of shopping / recreation. When I moved to Pittsburgh about three years ago bakery Square was a lovely spot to get a workout, grab a bite to eat and spend time with friends. It's only gotten better since!

What was once home to a Nabisco cracker baking factory is now Bakery Square, a vibrant community center filled with excellent dining, popular retailers, new apartments in Pittsburgh, and some of the area's top employers, including Google Pittsburgh's headquarters. The area is extremely environmentally friendly, interconnected by bridges and is a transportation dream with paths and bike lanes throughout.
