"Developer Walnut Capital is considering an audacious plan to reshape part of central and south Oakland with the construction of more than half-a-dozen new apartment buildings, a pedestrian bridge over the Boulevard of the Allies and a parking garage.
Dubbed Oakland Crossings, the plan by the Shadyside developer envisions new residential structures along Halket Street across from UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, at the old Isaly’s restaurant site on the Boulevard of the Allies and on McKee Place near Louisa Street."
