Our Favorite Pittsburgh Summer Activities & Spots

Pittsburgh weather is constantly changing. One day it can be raining, the next snowing, and the day after 80 degrees. However, we love our summer months and try to make the most of the time we can spend outside.

Bakery Square
Are you looking for an outdoor shopping and dining experience? Then, bakery Square is perfect for you! Featuring stores such as Free People and Anthropologie and food options, such as tako torta and Gallery Bakery Square, we know your experience will be highly satisfying. Also, don't forget to check Bakery Square's Facebook Page, @BakerySqaure, to learn about public and community events!

Kennywood
Kennywood is home to some of Pennsylvania's fasts roller coasters and adventure rides. From young to old, we promise there is something for everyone! Of course, spending a day at the park will spark your hunger, but there are countless food options that we know you will love!

Gateway Clipper Fleet
There are no better views of Pittsburgh than from the river! The Gateway Clipper Riverboat is the perfect tour that will show you the best places in the city of Pittsburgh. Along with a city tour, The Gateway Clipper Riverboat will also provide a memorable dining experience.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Love soccer? Did you know Pittsburgh has its own American professional soccer team? The Pittsburgh Riverhounds play in the Eastern Conference, and their home stadium, Highmark Stadium, is located right in Station Square.

Point State Park
Point State Park is one of Pittsburgh's most iconic and historical attractions. Point State Park is located at the center of the three rivers. The park is open 365 days a year but closes at dusk. We suggest going to the park to take a picnic or meeting up with some friends to take in the view of PNC Park during a Pittsburgh Pirates Game.

Riverfront Trails
During summer, do you prefer walking or biking? Take a long stride down the 24 miles of Pittsburgh riverfront trails, and we ensure that you will be mesmerized by the views. Don't forget to wave high to the kayakers!
