Healthy Ride Debuting This Sunday!

Pittsburgh’s Healthy Ride bike-share program is debuting this Sunday, with over 50 stations and 500 bikes located throughout 12 Pittsburgh neighborhoods! Healthy Ride conveniently connects the city with an affordable, healthy public transportation option. Not only is bicycling great for your personal health, it also delivers benefits towards the city’s health & sustainability!

The fun starts on Sunday during Open Streets PGH, where three miles of city streets between Downtown and Lawrenceville will be closed down for all sorts of activities including biking, running, Tai Chi, yoga, and more! Click here for all of the details!

No matter where you live with us, there is a kiosk near you! Stations are set up throughout Oakland, Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, and more! Users can pick up a bike at one station and drop it off at another, no problem! Registration is super easy, and only costs $1, that goes towards your first ride. Users have several options for payment, whether they want to do a monthly subscription or pay per ride. Helmets are not included, so please keep safety in mind and bring your own!

Walnut Capital is so thrilled that Pittsburgh is becoming a top-notch bicycling city, and hopes all of our residents will take advantage of this awesome amenity! See below for a map of all the Healthy Bike Stations!
