It’s finally fall and there is plenty happening around the ‘Burgh this time of year! From Trax’s annual Fall Festival to plenty of Oktoberfest celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Check out our list of can’t miss events this fall:

49th Annual Fall Festival at Trax Farms

Saturdays and Sundays September 29 – October 28
The annual Fall Festival at Trax Farms is a tradition for many families in the South Hills and greater Pittsburgh area. There’s something for everyone from grandparents to grand kids. Enjoy a hayride to their pumpkin patch to pick-your-own pumpkin or see if you can find your way through their giant, 3-acre corn maze!

Penn Brewery Oktoberfest

Friday, September 28 – Sunday, September 30
Penn Brewery’s annual Oktoberfest is back! Head to their mid-19th-century building and Biergarten for a weekend of cold bier, delicious food, traditional Bavarian music and plenty of Gemutlichkeit!

Claddagh’s Oktoberfest Fair

Saturday, September 29 | 7:00PM-2:00AM
Get your lederhosen ready and dust off your steins… it’s Oktoberfest time! Join in the fun at Claddagh’s for a classic Oktoberfest fair with a little Irish flair! There will be a Stein hoisting competition, Pretzel building, Best costume prizes, and Live music. They’ll also be featuring beers from Penn Brewery, Harpoon Brewery, Sam Adams & Shiner Bock!

Autumn Wellness Day

Hops and Hayrides

Wednesday nights in October | 4:30-7:00PM
Head to Trax Farm this fall for Hops and Hayrides every Wednesday night! Purchase your own 6 – pack and catch a hayride!  They will have beer sampling, corn maze, bonfire & a bale of fun! 6-packs are not included in ticket price and off premise alcohol is not permitted.

7th Annual Drunkin Punkin

It’s back for its 7th year! Hough’s annual Drunkin Punkin Festival is one of our favorites! Explore the tastes of everything pumpkin beer, get creative with their Rim Bar, snack on Halloween treats, win swag and this year you’ll take home their official Drunkin Punkin can koozie. Fall 2018 Pittsburgh Freaky Fair

Don’t miss Pittsburgh’s premier craft fair for spooky, strange or unusual art and handmade / vintage goods. Items at the fair are often related to: horror/cult movies, goth/punk/indie/underground subculture, occult/paranormal concepts, and other things geeky/weird/creepy. You’ll also be able to enjoy live entertainment, service vendors like tarot readers and massage therapists, and plenty of food!

Octoberfest at Sienna Mercato

Head to Il Tetto, a Rooftop Beer Garden, for a night of fun with samplings, alpine hats, steins, and other goodies! And don’t forget to enter the Stein Hoist contest at 7PM!

Uncover Squirrel Hill Oktoberfest

Saturday, October 13 | 4:00-8:00PM
Join Uncover Squirrel Hill for their Second Annual Oktober Fest: a self-paced beer tasting experience featuring 15+ local breweries. Oktoberfest will take place in the Squirrel Hill Business District located on Forbes and Murray Aves in the heart of Squirrel Hill.
Due to limited ticketing, advance ticket purchase is recommended. Participants will be required to check in, show valid ID and receive their wristband the day of the event.

Smoketoberfest V

Sunday, October 14 | 3:00-7:00PM
Roundabout Brewery’s 5th Annual Smoketoberfest will be held Sunday, October 14th, at their Pop-Up Beer Garden location on the Ohio River! They’ll have a number of specialty Roundabout beers including a few smoked varieties. You can also enjoy food from Blowfish BBQ, Driftwood Oven, PGH Smokehouse, and La Palapa.

October Wine Party

Thursday, October 18 | 6:30-8:30PM
Join wine host Tim Gaber of the Pittsburgh Winery at Priory Hotel for a an evening of great wine and food. Wines will be paired with small plates courtesy of Priory chefs Pete Phillipy and Mike Henney, with dessert by Priory Fine Pastries. Wines, menu TBD. Entertainment by Jocie Ghaznavi. Tickets are $60.

Boo & Brew Bash 2018

Eat, Drink and be Scary! Calling all Make-A-Wish supporters 21 and over… tour some of Downtown Pittsburgh’s best bars at the 8th Annual Boo & Brew Bash on Saturday, October 20, 2018. This Halloween-themed bar crawl offers classic brews and signature cocktails from the participating venues, culminating in an official After Party featuring late-night bites. Grab a clever costume and some friends for an evening of drinks, spooky snacks and the fan-favorite costume contest! Boo & Brew registration includes drink tickets redeemable from 6-10 p.m., at each of the bar crawl stops and appetizers at the event’s official After Party.

Final Farmers Market + Harvest Festival

The Block Northway is hosting their year-end Autumn Farmers Market to showcase the bounty of fall produce, along with a Harvest Festival featuring free fun activities for the entire family! The fun begins on Friday, October 26 in the south atrium located near DSW and Wahlburgers from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. You will enjoy locally grown farm fresh goods sold by diverse vendors, and much more!

Wigle Whiskey Halloween Party

Guys and Ghouls! Join the Wigle Barrelhouse & Whiskey Garden in your BEST costumes for a Halloween Party on Friday, October 26 from 5-10 PM.
