Best Burgers in the ‘Burgh

There’s nothing better than a big juicy hamburger… and that’s why we’re excited to be celebrating Hamburger Day on Monday, May 28th! While there’s plenty of spots around Pittsburgh to grab a great burger, these are some of our personal favorites:

Southern Tier

316 N Shore Dr – North Shore
We Recommend: The 2x Smash- two angus patties, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and 1000 island dressing.

Hop Farm Brewing Co.

5601 Butler St – Lawrenceville
We Recommend: The Mac N Cheese burger- your standard delicious burger but on a MAC N CHEESE bun!


342 N Shore Dr. – North Shore
We Recommend: The Roam on the Range- All natural Montana Range bison with sharp provolone, crispy pancetta, roasted red pepper, fresh spinach & chimichurri aioli on a pretzel bun.


5997 Centre Ave – East Liberty
We Recommend: Fire in the Hole- angus patty with guac, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, chipotle aioli and siracha.


728 Copeland St – Shadyside
We Recommend: Build your own Stack’d Burger- 1/2 pound burger with american cheese, bacon, an onion ring, and pickles on a pretzel bun.


6242 Northway Mall Dr – North Hills
We Recommend: The Triple Decker- three 3 oz burgers, lettuce, tomato, onion, american cheese, Paul’s signature wahl sauce and housemade pickles.


1505 E Carson St – South Side
We Recommend: Jeffersons Repeal- Sweet Jame-O sauce over fried onion straws and whiskey cheese.


4601 Liberty Ave – Bloomfield
We Recommend: Gourmet Kelly Burger- bacon, grilled mushrooms and grilled onions with american cheese, lettuce and tomato.

Burgher’s Brewing

3601 Butler St – Lawrenceville
We Recommend: Double Down Liberty Burger- 2 patty’s with american, onion, pickle, romaine,tomato, and special sauce.

Bill’s Bar & Burger

1001 Liberty Ave – Downtown
We Recommend: Ultimate Cheeseburger- 9oz triple decker, vermont cheddar, provolone, american cheese, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles.


214 N Craig St. – Oakland
We Recommend: Standard burger- Grass-fed beef ground in house and served with lettuce, onion and tallow fries.
