August Unblurred – Penn Ave Arts Crawl

Friday, August 2 | 6-10PM | Penn Ave Mathilda St
Each month, people from all over the region stroll Penn Avenue between the 4800 and 5500 blocks to meet with artists and local business owners. Visitors can expect to see everyone and everything. Families, singles, workers, students, long-time residents and first-time visitors alike can bask in Penn Avenue’s creative energy – experiencing a mix of photography, dance, painting, sculpture, music and spoken word performances. The Garfield Night Market also takes place during Unblurred from May through September.

Bakery Square Afternoon Tunes

Rose All Day PGH Festival

Enjoy the peak of pink wine season at this first-of-its-kind festival celebrating all things rosé. Sample wine from 20+ wineries, as well as rosé-inspired cocktails, craft beers and ciders. The Bloomfield Saturday Market, a program of Bloomfield Development Corporation, supports the neighborhood by creating a community gathering place and accessible health and wellness education, as well as increasing the visibility of Bloomfield to the greater Pittsburgh region. Yoga in the Square

Pittsburgh’s favorite free yoga series is back for 2019 and bringing two free one-hour yoga classes to Market Square with some of the city’s best yoga instructors! Hosted by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Yoga in the Square occurs weekly on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings through September 29. Make sure you arrive early to secure your spot. Yoga in the Square is free, but be sure to BYOM (bring your own mat)!

Pedal PGH

BikePGH welcomes cyclists of all ages and fitness levels to participate in PedalPGH, Pennsylvania’s largest bike ride. The 26th Annual PedalPGH, coming on August 26, 2019, showcases Pittsburgh’s safest, bicycle-friendly routes, and encourages bicyclists of all skill levels to participate. Proceeds fund BikePGH, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit, who works on behalf of the Pittsburgh community to make the city safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk. This fun ride explores Pittsburgh’s unique neighborhoods, parks, bridges, and geography.
